THE MAN BEHIND THE TITLE Tom is the Founder and President of APAG. He started the company because he wanted to create opportunity for others. Tom developed a system of marketing life insurance and annuities that enabled him to sell millions in annuity premiums each month. Now he is giving away the recipe instead of the cake.
Tom believes in a holistic approach to advising. He understands and masters the concepts of products, income planning, reduction in taxes and legacy planning. As a holistic planner, there is a greater opportunity to help more people.
Training is the foundation of effective sales practices. Tom now has over 2,000 independent representatives contracted through APAG, and believes in developing the tools necessary to help them be effective in their practices. When an advisor takes the opportunity to maximize his potential, he finds great satisfaction. The end result is helping others protect their hard earned assets from being transferred out of their estates.

Tom has been married to Jean for 23 years and has three sons. Tom is also involved in his church and several civic organizations in the Raleigh area. He enjoys being a private pilot and is a certified open water scuba diver.
